The Buffalo Bills had a strong offseason until a surprising report revealed that two recently signed free agents will miss the start of the 2025 season. The team added five-time Pro Bowl defensive end Joey Bosa after parting ways with Von Miller. During his nine years with the Los Angeles Chargers, Bosa accumulated 72 sacks, 156 quarterback hits, 87 tackles for loss, and 17 forced fumbles. However, Bosa’s career has been marred by various injuries, including a gluteal strain last season that caused him to miss three games.

In addition, the Bills signed former Chargers wide receiver Josh Palmer after losing Mack Hollins in free agency. Palmer totaled 10 touchdowns and 2,287 receiving yards on 182 receptions over his four seasons in Los Angeles.
The Bills also secured their franchise quarterback, Josh Allen, with a massive six-year, $330 million extension, which includes $250 million guaranteed.
However, two of their new signings are now facing scrutiny, as it was revealed that they will both be suspended at the beginning of the 2025 season. According to Bills general manager Brandon Beane, defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi and defensive end Michael Hoecht will each serve a six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
