The Las Vegas Raiders dropped to 2-8 on Sunday after losing to the Miami Dolphins. The Raiders’ 2024 season is looking increasingly likely to be a wash, as they have battled to get anything going on both sides of the ball. Following the game, the squad released a few of its players. Las Vegas cut tight end Trevon Wesco and linebacker Blake Lynch from the practice squad on Tuesday, according to the team.

Wesco has been in the league since 2019, playing for the New York Jets, Chicago Bears, and Tennessee Titans. He has only has 134 receiving yards and nine catches in his career. Lynch has been around since 2020, having previously played for the Minnesota Vikings and the Los Angeles Chargers. He has only made 51 tackles, two sacks, and forced a turnover. The Raiders fans have been waiting all season for the team to make a huge deal for a quarterback or some offensive weapons, but the team appears to be in tank mode to earn a top draft pick. Fans are beginning to lose hope in 2024 and are ready to move on to the future.
