The Falcons activated two players from injured reserve for Sunday’s game against the Broncos.
Linebacker Lorenzo Carter and center Drew Dalman will be available as Atlanta looks to move to 7-4 on the season. Carter has been absent for the past month due to a concussion, and Dalman has been out since sustaining an ankle injury in Week 3. Ryan Neuzil has been starting at center while Dalman is absent.
Carter and Dalman earned roster spots when the Falcons placed defensive linemen Ta’Quon Graham and James Smith-Williams on injured reserve. Both players were ruled out for the week on Friday.
The Falcons also added cornerback Natrone Brooks to the active roster and promoted safety Dane Cruikshank and linebacker Khalid Kareem from the practice squad on a temporary basis.
The Atlanta Falcons will be without eight players for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, including several key defenders.
Cornerback Mike Hughes (neck), nickelback Dee Alford (hamstring), and backup nickel Antonio Hamilton Sr. (pectoral) were all listed as out on Friday’s injury report.
Inside linebacker Troy Andersen (knee) will miss another game after reinjuring a knee injury that had previously sidelined him for five games. Rookie linebacker JD Bertrand (concussion) will miss his third consecutive game.
Ta’Quon Graham (pectoral) and James Smith-Williams (tibia) are also sidelined on defense. Both players have played all ten games this season, with Smith-Williams starting five of them.
Tight end Charlie Woerner, who suffered a concussion, will also miss the game.
