The Blades have reportedly offered the winger a weekly wage of £20,000, which is three times his present salary, as well as a £1 million loan fee and a £1 million promotion incentive if the club is able to return to the Premier League immediately.
Hull City, QPR, and Rangers were all willing to match Crystal Palace’s demands, whilst Leeds United and Southampton were only looking for a permanent agreement.
Charlton Athletic, also in League One, were interested in making an aggressive loan offer for the winger, but appear to have fallen behind the competition.
