TRANSFER UPDATES: New Saints Adds Another Offensive Lineman

New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President and General Manager Mickey Loomis announced on Monday that the team has reached an agreement with offensive lineman Dillon Radunz. Here are five key details about the newest addition to the Saints’ roster:

Radunz brings valuable NFL experience, having played multiple positions on the offensive line. Over his 54 career games (31 starts) with the Tennessee Titans, Radunz has played both guard and tackle. In 2024, he exclusively played right guard, logging 903 snaps according to Pro Football Focus. His career totals include 162 snaps at left tackle, 322 snaps at left guard, 1,080 snaps at right guard, 504 snaps at right tackle, and 13 snaps as a jumbo tight end.

At North Dakota State University, Radunz started in 33 games, including 32 consecutive starts at left tackle. He played a crucial role in helping the Bison win four Missouri Valley Football Conference championships and three NCAA Division I football national championships. He was named FCS All-American twice, including a consensus first-team selection in 2019.

Radunz had a standout senior season, earning an invitation to the 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl, making him the first player of that year’s event. He impressed during the showcase, being named Overall Practice Player of the Week by Jim Nagy, the former executive director of the event. Radunz was drafted in the second round, with the 53rd overall pick, in the 2021 NFL Draft.

In high school, Radunz played both offensive and defensive line for Becker High School. He was a two-year starting left tackle for the back-to-back Minnesota Class 4A state champions in 2014 and 2015. Defensively, he recorded 99 solo tackles, 64 assisted tackles, and 14 sacks.

A versatile athlete, Radunz also excelled in basketball, earning All-Conference honors over his three years as a starter. Additionally, he competed in track and field, finishing sixth in the shot put at the 2015 Class 2A state meet.
