The Chicago Bulls have been on a hot streak lately, winning six of their last eight games before Saturday’s impressive 146-115 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. With that win, they are optimistic about moving into eighth place in the Eastern Conference, which would require them to win just one play-in tournament game to secure a playoff spot.

Guard Coby White has been on fire recently, scoring 36 points on 12-of-17 shooting and 6-of-9 from three-point range on Saturday. However, his teammate Josh Giddey managed to steal the spotlight with a remarkable stat line. Giddey posted 15 points, 17 assists, and 10 rebounds, falling just two assists short of a quadruple-double—a rare and difficult achievement in basketball. Despite that, he made history by becoming the first player in NBA history to record this particular combination of stats.
Giddey, a rising star during his first three seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder, was known for his ability to both score and facilitate. He was traded to the Chicago Bulls last summer in exchange for guard Alex Caruso.
Only four NBA players have ever recorded a quadruple-double: Nate Thurmond, Alvin Robertson, Hakeem Olajuwon, and David Robinson, with Robinson being the last to do so in 1994, finishing with 34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 10 blocks.
