Curry’s injury occurred during a drive to the basket when he made contact with Jonathan Mogbo and Colin Castleton. After falling, he immediately clutched his back in pain. He was provided with a heating pad and didn’t return to the game after heading to the locker room. Before the injury, Curry had contributed 17 points (6-8 FG), two rebounds, one assist, and one block in just 25 minutes of play.

The Warriors managed to secure the win with help from Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green, who stepped up in Curry’s absence. Butler recorded a triple-double with 16 points (4-15 FG), 11 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, and two blocks, while Draymond added 21 points (7-18 FG), seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Despite Curry’s exit, the Warriors held off a late push from the Raptors to win the game.

The hope is that Curry’s injury is not too serious, and that he can recover quickly to aid the Warriors in securing a high seed in the Western Conference. The trade for Jimmy Butler has proven to be a significant boost for the Warriors, as his contributions have turned their season around. Butler’s defensive abilities, hustle plays, and knack for driving to the basket complement Curry’s game well, making him an ideal fit for the Warriors.

Currently, the Warriors are in sixth place in the Western Conference with a 41-29 record. They have a chance to secure a top-four seed but will need to win most of their remaining games while hoping for some unfavorable results from teams ahead of them. With the right momentum, the Warriors could be a dangerous team in the playoffs.
