Steve Kerr made history on Saturday night as he led the Golden State Warriors to a 97-94 victory over the New York Knicks.
While it may have seemed like just another regular-season win, this marked Kerr’s 558th victory with Golden State, setting a new record for the most regular-season wins in franchise history.
However, there’s no doubt that Kerr couldn’t have achieved this milestone without Steph Curry. On Sunday, the two-time MVP took to Instagram to share a silent but meaningful reaction to the Warriors’ historic announcement about Kerr.
Instead of using words to congratulate his longtime coach, Curry simply posted a single raising hands emoji, a common symbol of celebration.

Over their 11 years together with the Warriors, Curry and Kerr have experienced plenty of highs and lows, including an impressive four NBA championships.
However, their journey is far from over as they continue striving to make even more history together.
Since Jimmy Butler’s mid-season arrival, the Warriors have looked like a completely different team, surging to the No. 6 spot in the Western Conference with an impressive seven-game winning streak.
Now, both Kerr and Curry are determined to build on the coach’s all-time wins record—potentially paving the way for a fifth championship title.
