TRANSFEER UPDATE: Dolphins Re-sign Four Players to Strengthen Squad Depth

The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have re-signed linebacker Quinton Bell, defensive back Elijah Campbell, tackle Jackson Carman, and wide receiver Dee Eskridge.

Bell has appeared in 27 career games, starting three, over four seasons with Tampa Bay (2020), Atlanta (2022), and Miami (2023-24). He has accumulated 26 tackles (15 solo), one sack, one pass defensed, and one forced fumble in his career. Last season with Miami, he played in all 17 games, recording 23 tackles (13 solo), one sack, one pass defensed, and one forced fumble. He joined the Dolphins’ practice squad on October 17, 2023, and appeared in one game that year. Bell was originally selected by Oakland in the seventh round (230th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft after playing college football at Prairie View A&M.

Campbell has spent four seasons with Miami (2021-24), playing in 55 games with three starts, totaling 24 tackles (14 solo), two passes defensed, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He has also contributed 16 special teams tackles (11 solo) and participated in two postseason games with the Dolphins. Over his NFL career, Campbell has played in 58 games, having previously spent time with Cleveland (2018) and the New York Jets (2020-21). He entered the league as an undrafted free agent with Cleveland in May 2018. Additionally, Campbell played for the Birmingham Iron in the Alliance of American Football (2019) and the DC Defenders in the XFL (2020). He finished his college career at Northern Iowa (2016-17), where he played 24 games and recorded 87 tackles, 15 passes defensed, and eight interceptions after transferring from Northern Illinois.

Carman played in eight games with one start at right tackle in his first season with Miami in 2024, after being promoted from the practice squad. Over four seasons with Cincinnati (2021-23) and Miami (2024), he has appeared in 30 career games, starting seven, and played in seven postseason games, two of which he started. Carman was drafted in the second round (46th overall) by Cincinnati in the 2021 NFL Draft. He played college football at Clemson (2018-20), starting 27 of 40 career games with the Tigers.

Eskridge played in six games for Miami last season after joining the practice squad on August 29, 2024, and being promoted to the active roster on October 25, 2024. He recorded three receptions for 44 yards (14.7 avg.) and five kickoff returns for 146 yards (29.2 avg.) in his first season with the Dolphins. Eskridge is entering his fifth NFL season, having previously played for Seattle (2021-23). Over his career, he has appeared in 30 games, with 20 receptions for 166 yards (8.3 avg.) and one touchdown, while adding 574 yards on 22 kickoff returns (26.1 avg.). Eskridge was selected by Seattle in the second round (56th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played college football at Western Michigan (2016-20), recording 122 receptions for 2,260 yards (18.5 avg.) and 15 touchdowns over five seasons.
