Josh Allen Inducted Into University of Wyoming Hall of Fame
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been inducted into the University of Wyoming’s Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame.
Allen, once an unrecruited high school player, earned his opportunity at Wyoming, where he helped elevate the program to national recognition. During his college career, he led the Cowboys to consecutive eight-win seasons, a Mountain West Championship appearance in 2016, and two bowl games. He finished with 5,066 passing yards and 44 touchdowns, leading the conference in touchdowns (28) and yards per completion (15.3) in 2016.

Known for his powerful arm and athleticism, Allen became one of the most discussed prospects leading up to the 2018 NFL Draft, where he was selected seventh overall by Buffalo. His success has continued in the NFL, culminating in his 2024 MVP award and a key role in the Bills’ Super Bowl aspirations.
Wyoming recognized Allen’s impact, stating that media exposure during his time at the university generated an estimated $46 million in value for the school. He joins Casey Bramlet, Curt Jimerson, Hugh Lowham, Mike Mulvaney, Lori Kline Waddell, and John Wendling in the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025.
