The Panthers made several moves to adjust their practice squad roster following recent injuries. Tight end Stephen Sullivan and running back Dillon Johnson were placed on the practice squad/injured list, while safety Alex Cook and wide receiver Sam Pinckney were released from the practice squad.
The Panthers’ recent practice squad additions bring a mix of experience and potential:
Dominique Dafney, a Charlotte native, has a solid NFL background. After playing at Iowa and Indiana State, he spent time with the Colts, Packers, Broncos, Buccaneers, and in the UFL. He’s appeared in 15 NFL games, recording four catches for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Emani Bailey, an undrafted rookie from TCU, brings fresh talent to the running back room. He previously spent time on the Chiefs’ practice squad this year.
T.J. Luther, a wide receiver who played at Wofford and Gardner-Webb, has moved around NFL teams, having spent time with the Jets, Patriots, Steelers, and Packers. His versatility adds depth to the receiver corps.
Thomas Incoom is a familiar face, having been with the Panthers for most of the season. He’s appeared in seven games, primarily contributing on special teams.
These additions aim to provide reinforcement in critical areas while addressing injuries and maintaining depth.
