Opposing QB Disrespectfully Humiliates Deion Sanders After TD Against Colorado

The Colorado Buffaloes (4-1) hosted the No. 18-ranked Kansas State Wildcats at Folsom Field on Saturday night. With less than a minute remaining in the first quarter and Colorado up 7-0, Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson tied the game with an awkward-looking eight-yard rushing touchdown. Johnson scrambled left after dodging a cornerback blitz on fourth-and-four before crashing into the end zone. When he stood up, the sophomore signal-caller performed the infamous Deion Sanders NFL celebratory dance.

“Avery Johnson earned the right to dance after he dodged this blitz like it was nothing,” Kansas State beat writer Kellis Robinett said on X.

“I’m all for it, but he couldn’t look cooler crossing the goal line like that. “Maybe wait until after the next TD,” a fan wrote.
