This morning, Jayden Struble did not appear to be the most at ease on the ice in Brossard.
He trained in the same manner, but was seen leaving practice before his teammates.
Martin St-Louis revealed more details about his position, telling reporters at the CN Complex that Struble will not play tomorrow.
Based on recent training sessions, it’s safe to guess that the defensive pairs will look like this:
Matheson-Guhle, Hutson-Savard, and Xhekaj-Barron.

It’s also no surprise that Samuel Montembeault will start against the Maple Leafs in tomorrow night’s Bell Centre opener.
It’s an excellent opportunity for him to send a message and start the season on the right foot against Toronto’s heavy weapons.
