The Green Bay Packers are expecting wide receiver Romeo Doubs to return to practice this week after he was suspended for one game due to conduct detrimental to the team. This suspension followed Doubs skipping two practices last week, which led to disappointment from the organization.
Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst released a statement expressing the team’s commitment to moving forward positively with Doubs, emphasizing his value as a team member.
Despite the suspension generating some trade rumors, reports indicate that the Packers and Doubs had a constructive meeting regarding his future with the team.
Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs plans to participate in Wednesday’s practice following a positive meeting with the team regarding his recent suspension. According to sources, Doubs expressed concerns about not feeling sufficiently involved in the game plan. This season, he has recorded 12 catches for 169 yards over four games, with two of those games played without quarterback Jordan Love, who was sidelined due to a knee injury.
Despite Doubs’ absence, the Packers secured a victory over the Los Angeles Rams, winning 24-19.
