The Cleveland Browns won last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars, 18-13.
They hope to keep the positive momentum rolling in Week 3 when they host the New York Giants in a cross-conference game. Cleveland, like every other NFL team, is struggling with injuries and added four players to its active roster on Saturday.
#Browns sign RB Gary Brightwell and TE Blake Whiteheart to active roster, elevated CB Tony Brown II and TE Geoff Swaim from practice squad to gameday roster, and signed LB Nathaniel Watson to practice squad. NO tackles among the moves a good sign for Jack Conklin and Jed Wills.

According to Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal/Gannett Ohio, the Browns have signed running back Gary Brightwell and tight end Blake Whiteheart to the active roster. They also promoted Tony Brown II and Geoff Swaim to the active roster from the practice squad.
The Browns will be missing RB Pierre Strong Jr., who has a hamstring issue. Brightwell offers Cleveland extra depth at tailback. Throughout his NFL career, he had 164 rushing yards and 92 receiving yards.
Cleveland is still lacking tight ends. David Njoku is rehabbing an ankle injury sustained in Week 1. Before Whiteheart and Swaim joined the 53-man roster, Jordan Atkins was the lone active tight end.
Whiteheart made his Browns debut last week against the Jaguars, but did not collect any stats. Meanwhile, Swaim was added to the practice squad on September 10. In 100 career games, the 31-year-old has made 110 receptions for 846 yards and six touchdowns.
Brown, who has appeared in 61 NFL games, adds depth to the cornerback position. He has made 75 total tackles, seven pass deflections, and three forced fumbles in his career.
If everything goes as planned, these men won’t have to play many snaps on Sunday, but we all know anything can happen in this league.
