She collected her 336th rebound of the season against the Connecticut Sun on Friday, allowing her to pass Boston with plenty of time remaining in the game. Boston previously held the record during her 2023 Rookie of the Year season, when she averaged 14.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.

Reese accomplished the remarkable feat in the second quarter of the Sky’s game, with less than 10 minutes remaining in the first half. She has plenty of time throughout the match and throughout the season to extend her streak and claim the top spot on the list.

Angel Reese has been an outstanding performer in her debut year with the Chicago Sky. She averages 13.6 points and 12.3 rebounds per game, leading the Sky and all rookies in average rebounds. The rookie already owns the most consecutive double-doubles in WNBA history, having recorded 15 earlier this season to surpass league star Candace Parker.
