Auburn football continues to win recruits.
The Tigers maintained their progress on the recruiting path Friday morning, signing four-star defensive tackle Nate Marshall from Michigan.
Marshall had been committed to Michigan since April 22, but Auburn refused to let up on the top-100 prospect from Oak Park, Illinois. Vontrell King-Williams, the defensive line coach, was Marshall’s key recruiter.
Marshall paid an official visit to Auburn in June, and it appears to be paying off for Hugh Freeze and his staff two months later.
According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, the 6-foot-4, 265-pound defensive lineman is the No. 46 overall prospect in the 2025 class. He is also recognized as the sixth-best defensive lineman in the nation.
Auburn has 23 overall commitments for the 2025 class, with Marshall now ranked third. With Marshall’s commitment, Auburn now has the No. 5 recruiting class for 2025.
