The Pittsburgh Steelers received offensive lineman TyKeem Doss as a waiver claim. On the roster, Doss is listed at 6-foot-5 and 380 pounds.

Pittsburgh signed Doss, who formerly played tackle and guard for Baltimore, after first-round draft pick Troy Fautanu suffered a knee injury in the Steelers’ preseason opener, a 20-12 loss to the Houston Texans. The knee injury is expected to keep the rookie offensive tackle out for two weeks.

Doss, an Aliceville prep standout, helped the Yellow Jackets reach the AHSAA Class 1A title game in 2016.

After two seasons at East Central Community College, Doss spent three seasons at Southern Miss.

Doss signed with the Ravens as an undrafted rookie on May 5, 2023, and spent the season on the practice squad, without appearing in a regular-season game. Doss re-signed with the Ravens on January 29.

In Baltimore’s preseason opener against the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday night, Doss played one offensive snap and two special-teams plays in a 16-13 loss.
