Duke basketball has advanced to the next stage of Caleb Wilson’s recruitment.
Caleb Wilson is a highly sought-after forward from Holy Innocents Episcopal School in Georgia. Standing at 6-foot-9 and weighing 205 pounds, he is recognized for his versatility and skills on the court, earning him a five-star rating. Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer extended an offer to Wilson over a year ago, demonstrating the Blue Devils’ early interest in the talented forward. Despite not having hosted Wilson for a visit yet, Duke remains actively involved in his recruitment, indicating their strong interest in adding him to their program.
On Tuesday night, Caleb Wilson announced his top 12 schools, which include Duke, indicating that the Blue Devils are still very much in the running for his commitment. The other schools in contention are UNC, Kentucky, Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee, Ohio State, Southern Cal, Oregon, Georgia Tech, and UCF. This list is a significant narrowing down from the more than two dozen suitors who initially showed interest. Wilson shared this update with On3’s Joe Tipton.

Caleb Wilson, who is ranked No. 4 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, has been a standout player. He recently showcased his talent alongside Cameron and Cayden Boozer, both 2025 Duke targets, by helping Nightrydas Elite win the Nike EYBL Peach Jam title.
For his senior year, Wilson has scheduled official visits to Alabama on the first weekend of September and to Kentucky the following weekend. Despite these commitments, he has hinted multiple times at a potential visit to Duke.
According to a recent report by Zagsblog, Wilson plans to visit Duke this fall, along with other schools such as Arkansas, Tennessee, Oregon, and Georgia Tech.
