In a message sent via text, Muscala shared his sentiments about this significant career decision and the emotions accompanying the end of his time as a professional player.

During his time with the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2019 to 2023 and again in the latter half of the recent season, Mike Muscala made a significant impact wearing their distinctive blue, orange, yellow, and white uniform. He established himself as a reliable frontcourt player known for his ability to space the floor, contributing solid statistics over his 184 games with the team. Muscala averaged 6.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, while shooting an impressive 38.7 percent from three-point range during his tenure.
