The 6-5, 270-pound athlete is ranked 150th nationwide in the 2025 class by 247Sports Composite. Dye is the class’s 14th-ranked edge rusher and Indiana’s third-ranked player.
Dye is another candidate who recently returned from an official visit to Tennessee. He was in Knoxville last weekend and has only recently pledged his support to the Volunteers. Dye also made formal visits to Ohio State, Purdue, Miami, and Michigan. His other offers were LSU, Penn State, Texas A&M, and Florida State.
Dye, given his size, will most likely play strongside defensive end when he arrives in Knoxville.
Dye’s pledge propelled the Volunteers to No. 10 overall. Tennessee now has 16 total commitments following a busy few weeks on the path. Dye joins four-star recruit Ethan Utley and three-star prospect Charles House in the 2025 defensive line class.
