The Los Angeles Rams are consistently one of the league’s quieter teams.
This year promises to be no exception.
They are coming off another playoff appearance under Sean McVay, and Matthew Stafford, their great quarterback, has returned.
However, Stafford appears to be looking for long-term security.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Stafford is searching for a new contract with the organization.
“According to my understanding, Stafford wants more guaranteed money…He wants to alter his contract.Rapoport recently told NFL Network’s The Insiders that he will attend training camp.

This makes perfect sense from Stafford’s standpoint.
He’s been dealing with injuries recently and hasn’t played a full season since the Rams won the Super Bowl in 2021.
The former No. 1 selection still loves the game and appears to want to continue playing for a while, but he’s seeking for a little more money and security as he hits his late 30s.
With all he has delivered to the franchise in recent years, Stafford hopes that the front management shares his belief.
With him in the building, the team has won 10 or more games in two of the previous three seasons, and he has developed relationships with his All-Pro wide receivers, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.
Last season was his seventh professional season with a total passer rating greater than 90.0.
He is still a competent quarterback and wants to be compensated accordingly in the future.
