The Blue Devils have expanded their list of possible prospects in 2025.
The Duke basketball program does not yet have a commitment in the Class of 2025, but Jon Scheyer and his coaching staff have extended another offer to a rising prospect, 4-star forward Shelton Henderson.
Henderson, a Texas native, confirmed his latest offer on social media, making him the Blue Devils’ tenth rising senior recruit.
He is ranked No. 41 in the 247Sports Composite rankings, is 6-foot-6, and has offers from Houston, Louisville, LSU, Texas, and Texas Tech.

Shelton Henderson was among the prospects chosen for the USA Men’s U18 National Team, who won gold in the FIBA U18 AmeriCup last weekend. He averaged 8.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game during the tournament.
Jon Scheyer watched Henderson on the court prior to his appointment as the team’s on-court coach during training camp and was visibly impressed.
Throughout the event, Henderson shown an extraordinary ability to run the floor, demonstrating his quickness and prowess in identifying defensive weaknesses.

He joins a collection of great players offered by Duke, including 5-star Meleek Thomas, Jalen Haralson, AJ Dybantsa, Cameron Boozer, Koa Peat, Caleb Wilson, Cayden Boozer, Brayden Burries, and Nate Ament.
Henderson is the first four-star talent offered by the Blue Devils this recruiting cycle.
Jon Scheyer has been noncommittal in recent weeks about how many high school players he would have on his team next season, but he believes Duke will have few more recruiting classes with six or seven freshmen. The coaching team will focus their efforts mostly on the transfer site.
In the past four years, the Blue Devils have had a recruiting class ranked in the Top 2.
