Florida has been strongly pushing to flip one of the top wide receivers in the state of Florida this cycle.
So far this summer, Tampa (Fla.) Tampa Bay Tech four-star wide receiver Dallas Wilson has not made any official trips. He had planned to visit UCF this past weekend, but did not make it. He was scheduled to visit the Miami Hurricanes this weekend for an official visit, but he had an obligation to compete in the OT7 7on7 final. His remaining itinerary includes visits to Florida next weekend and Oregon the weekend of June 21.
With the Hurricanes not getting him on campus as once planned this weekend, they have been working to bump Florida’s visit weekend in favor for themselves. At this moment though, Willson said his plans are to be in Gainesville next weekend.
“The 14th is Florida,” Wilson remarked. “I’m not sure [about Miami replacing that weekend], but I’ve spoken with them about it. So I don’t know yet. Miami was scheduled to be this weekend. Miami might potentially be in the middle of the week or another weekend.”
