Trending: Unheralded Mavericks guard is primed to ‘win games’ for Dallas in Finals

With only a few days until the NBA Finals begin between the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics, fans have never been more excited for a finals game. With the Celtics winning the regular season matchup with the Mavericks, fans are unsure what to expect in Game 1. Fans should anticipate the Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic animosity to continue if Chandler Parsons’ comments earlier this week are accurate.

Mavericks' Jaden Hardy erupts for 33 points in G League - Yahoo Sports

Obviously, Doncic and Porzingis were former teammates for several seasons before Dallas dealt Porzingis during the 2022 season trade deadline, and the two never lived up to their lofty expectations.

As the NBA Finals approach, fans have sought ways for the Mavericks to get an advantage over the favored Celtics. Dallas believes it can get an advantage over the Celtics through bench performance. After bursting onto the scene during the Western Conference Finals, Jaden Hardy is primed to play a potentially huge impact during the NBA Finals.

Jaden Hardy is poised to ‘win games’ for Dallas in Finals

After a strong first season, Hardy was out of the rotation for much of the Mavericks’ regular season. However, in the playoffs, Hardy has played some of the finest basketball of his brief career. Hardy scored 13 points off the bench in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, making it his finest postseason game yet.

Since Hardy’s Game 4 outburst, the NBA world has taken notice of what he may potentially offer to the table in Dallas. Jordan Clarkson, Utah Jazz guard and former Sixth Man of the Year, is confident in Hardy’s ability to perform on the greatest stage. Clarkson recently stated that Hardy will win games in this finals series.

Receiving high accolades from one of the league’s top role players should be a tremendous honor for Hardy. Over the last month, Hardy has demonstrated that he has the potential to be a long-term X-factor in Dallas. Last season, Hardy demonstrated strong 3-point shooting and the ability to cut off of difficult closeouts, and fans have been treated to even more Hardy highlights this postseason season.
With the Finals just a few days away, Hardy is in a perfect position to help his team win. Hardy will assist Dallas in an area where they are already overburdened, which is bench production.

If Hardy can have another explosive series against the Boston Celtics, the Mavericks may be on their approach to earning a second Larry O’Brien Trophy. Stay tuned for more details on Jaden Hardy and Dallas Mavericks basketball.
