Miami is the only Atlantic Coast Conference team on Bahn’s list. Bahns singled out Ohio State and Oregon above all else, calling them dangerous teams.
Miami generated a lot of noise throughout the offseason, owing mostly to their action in the transfer portal. The Hurricanes lost 28 transfers to the portal and added 15 to their 27-man recruiting class. Six of Miami’s 15 transfer additions occurred during the spring transfer portal window.

The games at Louisville on October 19 and against Florida State on October 26 will be the most important in determining the outcome of the 2024 Miami season. If Miami can split games against FSU and Louisville, they will be a genuine contender for an ACC Championship game berth.
There will be a lot of scrutiny as the season begins on August 31 in Florida. Billy Napier and Cristobal have both faced a lot of criticism for losing records in their first two seasons.
