Ole Miss received a commitment from a transfer portal slot receiver on Saturday. Jordan Smart, who transferred from North Texas in April, committed to the Rebels on Saturday afternoon. Smart joined the transfer portal from North Texas on April 17.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder is slated to play slot receiver for the Rebels.
Last season, Smart played in 11 games, including two starts, and finished with 19 catches for 230 yards and a touchdown. He had three catches for 52 yards against Navy and a season-high four catches for 23 yards against Tulane. He made a 29-yard touchdown catch vs Tulsa.
