Matthew Murrell, Ole Miss basketball’s leading scorer, declared for the NBA draft after the season finished.
On Wednesday, the Memphis native announced that he would withdraw from the NBA Draft. Murrell will return to Chris Beard’s Ole Miss Rebels for another season.
“Can’t wait to get back out there and complete unfinished business with my teammates this season,” the Ole Miss guard said in a statement.

Murrell concluded the 2023-2024 season with 16.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
