Ole Miss is expecting to get a commitment soon. As initially reported by 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz, defensive lineman Chris Hardie is set to pledge to the Rebels shortly. Zenitz obtained this information from the AP Sports Agency, which represents Hardie.
Hardie made an official visit to the Ole Miss campus last weekend. Last season, the 6-2, 270-pounder was voted Conference USA Defensive Lineman of the Year.
Hardie accessed the transfer portal on April 23. He has also had formal visits to Central Florida, Colorado State, and Texas State.
