Just over a month after losing a running back to Ole Miss, Arizona has acquired a ball carrier from the Rebels.
Former Ole Miss running back Kedrick Reescano has committed to the University of Arizona for the 2024 season, providing a much-needed boost to a position with only three scholarship players.

Last season, the 6-foot, 210-pound Reescano participated in eight games as a true freshman, mostly on special teams. He was a 4-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, according to 247Sports, the No. 149 player in the country and the eighth-best running back, and chose Ole Miss over Michigan State.
Reescano, from New Caney, Texas, should fight for touches in a backfield that includes San Jose State transfer Quali Conley, junior Rayshon ‘Speedy’ Luke, and redshirt freshman Brandon Johnson. True freshman Jordan Washington was also at spring camp, although he has already switched to Washington.
Arizona also received a commitment from former New Mexico running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt in January, but he switched to Ole Miss in April.
Reescano is Arizona’s eleventh spring portal addition, and the fourth at an offensive skill position.
