Sean McVay, the Los Angeles Rams’ head coach, recently led his club to the Super Bowl. However, it appears that he was not entitled to a windowed office.
On Wednesday, McVay appeared remotely on ESPN’s NFL schedule announcement show to highlight the Rams’ most noteworthy games this season.
ESPN commentator Dan Orlovsky couldn’t help but notice the dark background behind McVay. The seasoned coach said that his office is “pretty depressing” and lacks a window.
“I’m in the same temporary office that I’ve been in for eight years here,” McVay replied when asked about his office setting.
“When I was employed in 2017, they stated that this would be a temporary facility. We’re in Year 9 of this thing. I’m locked like a prisoner in this thing, guy. “I am just fighting, scratching, and clawing for a window in this thing.”
McVay even mocked Rams president Kevin Demoff for failing to accommodate the coach’s wishes for an improved office. Demoff saw amusement in McVay’s call-out.
What a win! Thats how a head coach earns a window office @BednarJared https://t.co/6QvMGiZLyA

The Rams give supporters an opportunity to aid McVay. The team’s official X account promised to get the coach a window if their post received 10,000 retweets.
10k retweets and we’ll get Coach McVay a window for his office.

McVay has always been down for some lighter riffing. The Rams coach has mocked himself for what was likely his most egregious mistake last season.
