The Boston Celtics’ 27th overall pick in 2003 believes Durant will help the Heat reach the Finals.

“We know the Miami Heat made it to two NBA Finals. Jimmy Butler was unable to get them over the hump. You get someone like Kevin Durant in there. Also, the Miami Heat received several components. “They’ve got some eye candy over there,” he explained.

Durant cuts an unhappy figure for the Suns, going a month without speaking to then-head coach Frank Vogel until the latter was sacked last week.

The Suns were eliminated from the playoffs in the first round by the Timberwolves, prompting the firing and replacement signing of coach Mike Budenholzer from the Bucks.

KD was signed second overall in the 2007 season by the then-Sonics, now Thunder, and is a two-time NBA champion, both with the Warriors.

He joined the Suns from the Nets last year and is apparently looking to join his fifth organization.
