According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, the Giants used the veteran salary benefit to sign Robinson, who received a one-year contract worth $1.21 million.
Robinson will play for his third team since leaving the Bears for free agency in 2021. He played for the Rams in 2022 and the Steelers last season.
Robinson had 34 receptions for 280 yards and zero touchdowns with the Steelers last season. Robinson finished the 2022 season with 339 yards and three touchdowns for the Rams.
The Giants have selected LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers with the sixth choice in the 2024 NFL Draft, giving him the anticipated No. 1 target for Daniel Jones this season. In addition, the wide receiver room includes Darius Slayton, Jalin Hyatt, Wan’Dale Robinson, Isaiah McKenzie, and Isaiah Hodgins.
Robinson has not been the same since leaving Chicago. He gained over 1,100 yards in both the 2019 and 2020 seasons, with 13 touchdowns and 200 receptions between the two.
